How to breed the Bellowfish monster

Bellowfish

The bellowfish monster is the latest monster to arrive in My Singing Monsters. It lives on Ethereal Island and is – like the other two-element monsters on this island – a bit hard to breed.

ReebroplusJeeodeequalBellowfish

To breed the bellowfish monster you need to mix a reebro monster with a jeeode monster and add a bit of luck. Having your friends stopping by your island and lighting your torches gives you a better chance of breeding the bellowfish.

Happy breeding 🙂

New monster coming soon – Secrets revealed

There’s a new monster coming soon! Judging by the hint tweeted by @SingingMonsters, the monster will show up on Ethereal Island where you need to mix a mech element monster (the reebro) with a crystal element monster (the jeeode).

What the new monster is called and how it will look like is still a well guarded secret…

I don’t think they will call it “Crystal Mech” 🙂

Edit: The new monster is called Bellowfish

Final call for the Blabbit monster

Trying to get the blabbit monster in My Singing Monsters? Well, this is your final call. The blabbit will disappear tomorrow, and by then you’ll have to wait another year to breed it.

Ask your friends to light your torches and give it another try (The blabbit lives on water island, and you have to mix a spunge and a scups monster to breed it).

How to breed the Kazilleon Monster

Kazilleon

A new element, poison, was recently introduced in My Singing Monsters and along with that, 2 new monsters: the Humbug and the Kazilleon. The kazilleon is only available on Ethereal Island, and is quite hard to breed.

First you need to breed a humbug monster on Earth Island, feed it to level 15 and then teleport it to Ethereal Island. Once that’s done, make the humbug breedable by feeding it to level 4 (teleported monsters reset to level 1 once teleported).

Next, you need another ethereal monster, the grumpyre. The grumpyre is available on Cold Island and you need to feed and teleport it like you did with the humbug monster.

Once you’re done breeding, feeding and teleporting the humbug and grumpyre it’s time to breed the kazilleon. The only possible combination is:

Breeding the kazilleon requires quite a bit of luck, so don’t panic if you end up with a humbug or grumpyre after breeding – simply hit the retry button and cross your fingers. Remember to place torches for your friends to light to improve your chance of breeding the kazilleon.

Happy breeding!

How to breed the Humbug Monster

Humbug

A new monster is now available on Earth Island: The Humbug.

The other 4 islands have had their own ethereal monsters (Ghazt, Grumpyre, Reebro and Jeeode) for ages, and now the time has come for Earth Island.

Breeding a humbug is done the same way as the other ethereal monsters. You have to mix a four and a three element monster to get it (and add a bit of luck). On Earth Island that means you have to try one of the following combinations:

  • smallQuarristersmallReedling Quarrister and Reedling
  •  smallQuarristersmallThumpies Quarrister and Thumpies
  • smallQuarristersmallPompom Quarrister and Pompom
  • smallQuarristersmallClamble Quarrister and Clamble

You can improve your chances of breeding a humbug by placing torches on Earth Island (and hope your friends will drop by and light them).

If you’re rich, you can also buy a humbug for just 1,000 diamonds…

Schmoochle available (2014)

The schmoochle was introduced in 2013 celebrating Valentine’s Day and is now available for breeding again. But hurry up – it’s only available for a limited time (ends noon February 15th EDT).

Schmoochle

So how do you breed a schmoochle? Head over to Air Island and mix a tweedle and a riff. This is the right combination, but – as with other “special” monsters – you also need a bit of luck. I have a success rating of ~15% breeding special monsters, so you have to try a few times to get the schmoochle.

You can check if you have a schmoochle breeding by looking at the remaining breeding time: If it’s ~31 hours you got it!

The schmoochle takes up 2 beds on Air Island. If you want to buy the schmoochle it will set you back 225 diamonds!
